The very popular Nissan Pathfinder is back and better than ever in 2019. It is part of the fourth generation of this vehicle, which was introduced back in 2013. For the new year, trims will be gaining standard USB-C ports as well as rear parking sensors. There are also new standard safety features on every trim level except for the base.

Performance
All trim levels of the new 2019 Pathfinder are powered by the same engine. It is a 3.5-liter direct injection V-6 that produces 284-horsepower and 259 lb-ft of torque. This is perfectly paired with an Xtronic Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT). Each Pathfinder is equipped with hill start assist. Models with 4WD feature hill descent control. No matter which Pathfinder you choose, it will have a towing capacity of 6,000 pounds.
Interior and Features
There are many standard features that make driving the 2019 Pathfinder both fun and convenient. Every trim level features both an Advanced Drive-Assist Display and a NissanConnect 8" touch-screen display. On upper trims, there is also the Nissan Navigation System. Other standard interior features include a push-button start, tri-zone automatic temperature control, and a Bluetooth hands-free phone system. Each level of the Pathfinder is also equipped with an impressive 6 USB ports as well as an audio auxiliary jack. Drivers can take advantage of the illuminated steering wheel-mounted controls as well as speed-sensitive volume control.

Nissan values safety, which is why every Pathfinder is equipped with their Advanced Air Bag System. Standard safety features also include Automatic Emergency Braking, Vehicle Dynamic Control, and a Traction Control System. Upper trims also feature advanced safety options such as Blind Spot Warning and Rear Cross Traffic Alert. Every trim level features a Tire Pressure Monitoring System with Easy-Fill Tire Alert. On all trims but the base level S, this includes an individual tire pressure display.
