The Intelligent All-Wheel Drive surely elevates the 2019 Altima to much higher performance status than the Camry, which is driven by front-wheel drive. Nissan's Xtronic CVT also offers more gear options than the Toyota's Direct Shift automatic transmission. However, three custom drive modes are available in the Camry's cockpit. Remote services, WiFi and navigation are some of the top features in this signature console. Optional in some Camry trims, the JBL audio system includes nine speakers. Working in sync with the Active Noise Cancellation technology, the Altima's Bose audio system also has nine speakers.

Safety

The 2019 Altima Edition ONE and Platinum VC-Turbo boast the latest ProPILOT ASSIST technology that dramatically improves your defensive driving attributes. You just need to push a button to activate this active safety suite. The Rear Automatic Braking and Rear Sonar System lower your risk of colliding with other vehicles while backing up. These features offer better guidance than the 2019 Toyota Camry's Intelligent Clearance Sonar and Rear Cross-Traffic Braking. Otherwise, the Nissan Intelligent Mobility is similar to the Toyota Safety Sense P technology. For example, both packages include advanced cruise control, front automatic braking and alert systems for lane movements.
