Differences Between 2019 Nissan 370Z & 2019 Subaru BRZ

Serving Cincinnati, OH, Louisville, KY, and Fairfield, OH

There are few moments in life that can beat the thrill and excitement of zipping down the highway while behind the wheel of a sports car. While you can choose from some great models, the top two choices for many car enthusiasts are the Nissan 370Z and the Subaru BRZ. Both have the aerodynamic design that captures the attention of others and reduces drag to better your fuel economy.

Subaru has a strong reputation for its warranty and special programs. Many people who buy one Subaru love it so much that they'll never buy a car from another manufacturer, but some people feel the same way about Nissan. At JW Nissan, we want to make sure that you love the 370Z and that it's the right car for you, which is why we'll help you compare the 2019 model to the BRZ from Subaru before you buy.

Fuel Efficiency

Nissan offers the 370Z in seven impressive models, all of which get a fuel efficiency of 26 mpg on the highway. You can choose between standard automatic and manual packages and a manual sport package. The 370Z also comes in a sport touring manual or automatic package and NISMO packages. All of these models get between 17 and 19 mpg in the city. Subaru only offers the BRZ in a few packages. The base model comes with a premium manual transmission, though you can also pick from four different packages. Most of those packages cost more than the Nissan options do.

JD Power and Associates

When it comes to recognition, the name that most people turn to is JD Power and Associates. This organization ranks Nissan above Subaru in terms of factors such as safety and warranty features. Nissan is the 10th best car manufacturer in the world in terms of the number of average repairs, while Subaru ranks number 25 on that same list. When looking at the information shared by buyers after owning their vehicles for more than three years, Nissan also came out on top. It ranks 10th in terms of the organization's reliability ratings, while Subaru ranked at number 24. This ranking refers to the number of repairs that those vehicles needed.

Exterior Features

Though both cars have a great look when driving down the road, Nissan gave the 370Z more features than Subaru gave the BRZ. Those features include both chrome handles and a liftgate, which come standard on the model. You cannot get the same features on the BRZ, even if you pay extra. The 370Z comes in several glossy paint finishes that you can choose from too. We can help you special order a model in the color that you like the best. Some of the other features the 370Z has that the BRZ lacks include an automatically dimming rearview mirror and a tinted windshield. It comes in special trim packages too.
